The piano incorporates designs by Gustav Klimt’s original artwork from ‘The Tree of Life’ and ‘Expectation’ by means of an elaborate reprographic technique. The jewellery of the young woman from ‘Expectation’ has been intricately hand-gilded in the finest 23 carat gold leaf.  Delicate gilding to the music desk and legs reflects the golden expression of Art Nouveau.
